Getting Started Guide

Early game tips and suggested F2P teams to help you progress through the main story and make the most of your resources.

Early Game Tips

  • Complete Main Story stages first to unlock characters and new content.
  • Finish the Beginner Missions for excellent rewards (EXP, gold, memory pieces, etc.).
  • Don't ignore Event Stages early on. They usually include a dedicated shop with very favorable exchange rates.
  • You will need to develop the Adventurer, and they are mandatory in your team, so don't neglect them like you might with a protagonist in other gacha games.
  • Some Memory Pieces are more universal than others. If you lack better options, even lower rarity (R) pieces are fine early on.
  • Example: Beyond the Clouds (R Supporter) increases all allies' ATK when the holder uses their Ultimate.
  • The Chain System greatly increases damage.
    • Multi-hit characters build the multiplier faster.
    • Single-hit characters benefit the most from attacking last.
    • Plan your action order carefully: your Main DPS should attack after everyone else, including multi-hit DPS units.
  • Don't spread your resources across too many characters.
  • Story enemies are Wind Wind, then Dark Dark, and finally Water Water. Use the elemental advantage DPS to progress faster.
  • For faster progression, spend Stamina farming Search stages (gold and EXP) rather than Origin (Skills), Shadows (Partner Fragments), Summon (Monsters) and Conquest (Gear).
  • Avoid using Bulging Mushrooms (stamina refills) during your first days. Save them for later stages where rewards are better.
  • Don't overinvest in low-rarity gear. Higher rarity equipment becomes available quickly.
  • Some Gear Sets have universal bonuses. For example, Solemn Resolve (2-piece = +15% ATK%) may not be optimal for every DPS, but it's flexible and can be swapped between characters.

Early Teams

Your team consists of the Adventurer (MC), 2 Battle Partners (BP), 2 Assist Partners (AP), and 1 Monster Partner (MP).

  • Choose characters with elemental advantage. This is important not only for the extra damage, but also for building the Chain faster. So, if the enemy is Wind Wind, use Fire Fire characters and especially avoid Earth Earth.
  • Time Trait affects all main stats (ATK, DEF, and HP). This also amplifies the stat bonuses that Assist Partners provide to frontline allies.
  • Adventurer and Monster Partners are mainly used to fill missing roles AttackerDefenderDebufferSupporter in your team or to enhance the team's overall potential.

Every team should have:

  • Attacker 1+ DPS
  • Chain Amplifier 1+ Chain Amplifier
  • DebufferSupporter 1–2 Support/Debuffer
  • SupporterDefender 1–2 Healer/Defender
