Getting Started

A launch-oriented beginner guide for Cookie Run: Crumble. Mechanics below are based on official pre-registration materials and may change at launch.

What is Cookie Run: Crumble?

Cookie Run: Crumble is an idle hoard-survivor auto-battler RPG from Devsisters (Studio Kingdom). You field up to 12 Cookies on survivor maps; they auto-attack and auto-cast skills against scaling waves and bosses. Progress comes from leveling, promotion, gear, and Pets.

Global launch is expected around July 31, 2026 on iOS, Android, and PC (Google Play Games). Platforms and dates can still shift — always check the official store listing.

Core loop

  1. Build a party of Cookies (up to 12 on the field).
  2. Clear idle survivor waves and bosses for rewards.
  3. Level, promote, and gear Cookies; pair them with Pets.
  4. Push modes such as Crumble Dungeon, Plaque/Implant Tower, Arena (PvP), and Guild content as they unlock.

An oven-style automatic equipment draw system is designed to reduce pure gear farming — exact rates are not public yet.

Classes

Cookies fall into three combat classes:

  • Vanguard — front-line engage / initiator.
  • Defender — tank and protection.
  • Shooter — back-line ranged DPS.

Class matchups and Pet chemistry will drive the meta once live data exists. For early parties, aim for a balanced mix rather than stacking a single role.

Rarity grades

Confirmed promotional grades ascend roughly as C → U → R → SR → SSR → TSSR. TSSR cookies (Wind Archer, Oven Wanderer, Brightseeker, GingerCraven, Cyborg Archangel, Readyberry) sit at the top of the rarity scale and are the natural early reroll / save targets.

Signature launch Cookies include Dark Cherry (Vanguard), Berry Yogurt (Defender), and Grapevine (Shooter).

Currencies and gacha

  • Cookie Cutters — pull Cookies.
  • Pet Tickets — pull Pets.
  • Crystals — premium currency.
  • Coins — soft currency.

Pity and exact rates have not been published. Do not plan spending around assumed pity numbers until official patch notes or in-game text confirm them.

Early priorities

  1. Clear story / idle maps to unlock your full party size and core systems.
  2. Invest first in one strong Cookie per class rather than spreading resources thin.
  3. Check our Reroll Guide before burning early cutters if you care about premium TSSR / SSR starts.
  4. A full Tier List will be published once official combat data is available.

Pre-registration notes

Pre-registration (June 29–July 29, 2026) offered milestone rewards (Crystals, Coins, Premium Cookie Cutters, Pet Tickets) and cross-promo packages with CookieRun: Kingdom / OvenBreak. Browser mini-games on the pre-reg site (including King Choco Drop's Treasure Map) may hide launch codes — we will track codes in a dedicated page once they appear.
