Excavated from the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings and now housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this necklace consists of rows of gold beads and semi-precious stones. It served both as a ceremonial object in life and a sacred symbol of divine authority after death.
