Gacha system & reroll guide

Recruit banners, currencies, and pity rules; how to reroll efficiently without guest accounts; a practical route to your first 5★; and whether rerolling is worth it.

Gacha System

Reroll Guide

In this game, you cannot simply "delete data" to restart. Since account deletion takes 30 days, you have two main workarounds to bypass this restriction:

1. The "Salted Email" Method (Best for Gmail users)

This is the most efficient way to create multiple accounts using a single email address. Most systems recognize "salted" addresses as unique, but all verification emails will go to your main inbox.

2. The Multi-Instance Method (PC Emulators)

If you are playing on a PC using an emulator you can use the Multi-Instance Manager:

  1. Open the emulator and create a "Master Instance."
  2. Download the game but do not log in yet.
  3. Clone the instance as many times as your PC can handle.
  4. Log in with a different salted email on each instance to pull simultaneously.

The Optimized Reroll Route

To maximize your efficiency, follow these steps:

  1. Speedrun the Tutorial: Skip all cutscenes and dialogues. Focus on reaching the Recruit menu (unlocked after approximately 15 minutes).
  2. Collect Mailbox Rewards: Check your in-game mail for pre-registration rewards, maintenance compensations, or launch gifts.
  3. The "First-Time" Pull: Use your Compass of Expedition on the Tutorial banner. Remember: you cannot get a 5-star here, so don't get stuck trying to optimize this pull.
  4. Targeting the 5-Stars: Spend your Compasses of Promise on the Eternal Promise banner. Since you get a 5-star within 20 pulls (at a discounted price of 16), this is your primary target.
  5. Success? Bind the account to your main email/social media. Failure? Log out and start again with a new salted email.

Who Should You Aim For?

When rerolling, your target dictates how much time you'll spend in "tutorial hell." Here is the most efficient strategy based on current resource availability:

The Limited-Time Rate Up Dilemma

Ideally, every player wants to start with the Limited-Time Rate Up character. These units are often the strongest in the game and won't be available again for months. However, there is a catch:

  • Resource Scarcity: Based on current data, the amount of Compasses of Destiny provided at the start of the game is extremely limited.
  • The Time Sink: Attempting to "snipe" a 1% Limited unit with only a few pulls—without a Guest Account and with the 30-day deletion lock—is statistically exhausting.
  • The Verdict: Unless you are prepared to spend days (or even weeks) rerolling, do not focus on the Limited banner. It is simply too time-consuming for the average player.

The "Golden Start" Strategy

Instead of chasing the Limited unit, aim for a top-tier Standard synergy. Since you have a guaranteed random 5-star within 20 pulls and a selector within 50, your goal should be:

  • Jiwon Jiwon
    if you want to get
    Esther Esther
, as the only Standard Support—better longevity; even with a Wind-specific kit, Supports generally suffer less from power creep than DPS units.
  • Flare Flare
Highly recommended. As the only 5-star Destroyer, she is top-tier and makes boss fights significantly easier.
  • All other Standard units are viable against their respective elements. Their Fighter class makes them essential for high-density mob content like Story mode, Paths, and Dimensional Rift.

Once you've chosen your favorite 5-star character, your next priority should be to obtain their exclusive Artifact. In this game, Artifacts are essential items that significantly boost performance; a 4-star character with their weapon can easily compete with a 5-star character without one.

Is Rerolling Mandatory?

The short answer is: No.

The most compelling reason to skip rerolling is the New Friend banner. Once you finish the initial starter banner, you unlock the ability to guarantee a Standard 5-star character of your choice within 50 pulls. This ensures that even with the worst luck imaginable, you will eventually have the specific top-tier unit you need to round out your team.

The tutorial takes about 15 minutes. Given the 30-day account deletion lock and the lack of a guest login, the "effort-to-reward" ratio is quite low. Spending hours rerolling might only save you a few days of resource gathering that you would otherwise spend reaching the 50-pull pity on the selector banner.

With a 1% 5-star rate, the odds of hitting multiple 5-stars in a single multi-pull are slim. Since pity carries over on limited banners and the starter banners are guaranteed, your account will naturally stabilize and grow stronger as you play.

The Verdict: If you find a character you enjoy during the first few pulls, keep the account. The selector banner acts as a perfect safety net, making the tedious process of rerolling optional rather than a requirement for success.
